Austrian radio journalist Martin Zwishenberger, the head of “Igel” radio station in Graz Pedagogical Institute gave master classes to the students of BelSU Pedagogical Institute Foreign Languages Department
The Foreign Languages Department traditionally serves as a ground for international projects of various levels. This time the Radio “Igel” project, initiated by the teachers of German Language subdepartment and assistant professor of Graz Pedagogical Institute (Austria) Martin Zwishenberg united the students of Foreign Languages Department and the students of Institute of Cross-Cultural Communications and International Relations, who study German.
Thanks to the master classes the students learned how to create, to record and broadcast radio programs. They’ve completed their assignment, – to make a brief report about Belgorod for Radio “Igel” in German. Besides language practice and working experience they got an opportunity to tell the whole world about their favorite city.
Martin Zwishenberg also visited the university’s radio “BELiy Gus’” and left an autograph for the young journalists of BelSU Mediaholding.
The seminar’s work was summed up at the round table meeting with the Dean of Foreign Languages Department Aleksei Kolesnikov, the teachers of German and French Languages Subdepartment and lectors from Bosch Foundation Peter Korel and DAAD Sabine Korin.
Mr. Zwishenberg said that Radio “Igel” project became a foundation for the cooperation of Graz Pedagogical Institute and BelSU Pedagogical Institute Foreign Languages Department in education and science. The cooperation agreement between universities is in progress.
