Science week ahead

Students, postgraduates, young scientists and representatives of BelSU Students’ Scientific Community were greeted by vice rector of Belgorod State University for science and innovation Igor Konstantinov. He reminded that BelSU was ranked among 20 best universities of Russia for its research work etc. In 2016, ten young scientists have got Presidential Grants.

“The science week is dedicated for popularization of science among young people. At such events we speak about ways in which science influence our lives, about perspectives, and experienced scientists can become an example for young ones”, – he said.

The winners of inter-university graduation works contest were awarded at the opening event: Nguen Thi Tham Hong from Institute of Engineering and Natural Science, Anna Sbitneva from Institute of Economy, Tatyana Kofanova from IENS, Anastasia Yashina from Mining and Natural Resource Management and Aleksandr Mikhalev from Pedagogical Institute.

The head of Students’ and Young Scientists’ Research Office Aleksandr Zhilharev told about The Science Week's events and SCOU-2016 Youth Forum which will take part in BelSU and would be dedicated to 140^th Anniversary of the university.

The Science Week will last to 13^th of April.
