To BelSU for the modern knowledge

Under the guidance of Marina Skorkina, Doctor of Biologic Sciences, Anika masters modern technologies of atomic force microscopy, developed by the scientists of the department. It includes creation of bio-chips based on living cellular system, measurement of adhesive powers in cell-cell system, estimation of elastic properties of blood cells and cell surface charge.

Anika was recommended to BelSU by her research advisor Prof. Nadia Antonova, who studied publications of university’s researchers and chore BelSU. Anika works at the experimental part of her thesis works, dedicated to one of the most spreading diseases – second type diabetes.

“Highly qualified specialists work at BelSU, apply modern research methods and use the most up-to-date equipment. I am sure that experimental part of my thesis work would be successfully done”– she said.
