Delegation of BelSU represented the university at “Higher Education Development” Forum in St. Petersburg
More than 400 professors, teachers, young researchers and the winners of Presidential and Governmental scholarships, the heads of research projects gathered at St. Petersburg National Research University of Informational Technologies, Mechanics and optics.
The main theme of the forum is the vectors of higher education system development in St. Petersburg and Russia. The plenary meeting was headed by the new Minister of Education Science of Russian Federation Olga Vasilyeva.
Chairman of the Government of Russia Dmitriy Medvedev noticed that discussions should be brought to life.
“We want the Russian education to be among the best in the world”, – he said. – “We want people to say proudly: “I’ve got my education in Russia”.
BelSU was represented at the Forum by the Deputy Vice Rector for Science and Innovation Andrei Peresypkin, the Head of Master’s, Doctor’s and Postgraduates’ Courses Development Department Irina Shumakova, the Head of Students’ and Young Scientists’ Research Work Department Aleksandr Zhiharev, and Professor of Institute of Cross-Cultural Communications and International Relations. Irina Kuprieva, Doctor of Philological Sciences.
The main themes for discussion were: “University and innovational development of the region”, «Development of technologies and content of higher education as a condition of successful employment”, “Development of research and innovation”, “Development of state system of scientific attestation”.<< Back to the list |
