Book fair for the 140th anniversary of the University

The exhibition was attended by directors of institutes, deans, professors and students. A welcoming speech at the opening of the exhibition was made by the "BelSU" Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Information Alexander Mamatov.

"The exhibition of teachers’ publications dedicated to the 140th anniversary of "BelSU ", shows the results of the labor of scientists of all the university institutions and departments and reflects actual problems of science and education", - he said.

Director of the Scientific Library n.a. NN Strahov Valentina Monastyryova told that the library annually introduces its readers to the works of BelSU teachers.

"The peculiarity of this exhibition is that it for the first time presents the first editions, which were published in the 60-90-years" - shared Valentina Anatolyevna.

The exhibition includes textbooks, manuals, reference books, monographs, conference proceedings, collections of university teachers’ scientific works from the Fund of the Scientific Library – in total about 900 copies of printed books.

The exhibition is organized on two venues of the library: 85 Pobedy st, building 15, room1-26.; 14 Studencheskaya st, building 4, room 209.
