International Summer Language School: results and plans for the future

Meeting was opened by Vice-Rector of the University for Academic Affairs and Information Alexandr Mamatov. He thanked all the participants and noted that such a project as the International Summer Language School is unique.

"We are one of the few universities in the country that can boast of such a large-scale project, which provides an opportunity for interactive learning foreign languages, not only for the students of our university, but now, for all who wish to improve their foreign language skills", - Alexandr said.

The results of this work were presented in the video, which allowed not only to get an idea of the school as a whole, but also helped to convey a creative atmosphere.

"I would like to thank all the participants for your interest in the study of languages. Without you, this school would have been impossible ", - noted Xenia Vorobyeva, Director of the International Summer Language School.

On behalf of all the volunteers Arslan Tadzhimetov made a speech, in which he thanked the BelSU management for the opportunity to learn a foreign language.

"I was a participant last year, now I'm lucky enough to be a volunteer. It should be noted that the school is growing every year. Our staff of volunteers consisted not only of the students of our university, also guys from Serbia, the Netherlands and the UK came to us. When you're surrounded by so many speakers, it behooves you to speak English! "- shared Arslan.

Finaly, Larissa Tsurikova, director of foreign language education and academic mobility center, shared plans for the future with the audience.

"Already, we are starting the preparations for the V International Summer Language School, will be glad to see all the participants ILSS- 2017! "- she said.
