I am very pleased to congratulate you on this significant anniversary: 140 years since the founding of Belgorod University. This is a great period. This year in October we, Belarusian State University, celebrate our 95th anniversary. We are much younger than you. And I am particularly pleased that our universities have developed very good relations: we cooperate in the field of science and youth policy. We appreciate your University.

During our visit we liked your magnificent buildings, the organization of the University. Belgorod region made a lasting impression. I know that the contribution of the University to the development of Belgorod region and Russian education and science is very large.

You are The National Research University and it is recognition of your merits. I want you to greet the anniversary once again. I regret that I can't come, but please convey to all employees of Belgorod State University our best wishes: health, happiness, prosperity to your University and for us to continue together working!
