Cooperation between universities – one of the foundations of international stability

Representatives of universities of international states: Germany, Netherlands, Armenia, Greece, Poland, Kazakhstan, Brazilia, Ireland, Italy, Kirgizia etc came to BelSU. The plenary meeting concerning international cooperation was opened by the Principal of BelSU Oleg Poukhin, who greeted the gueste on behalf of the university and spoke about significance of cooperation in development of science and education., отметив значимость межвузовского партнёрства в развитии науки и образования.

«I warmy welcome you at our university’s jubilee. I hope that every one of you feels yourself at home», - he said.

The Principal presented a report about the history of the region and Belgorod State University, its development and achievements, in which partnership between universities has played a significant role.

“We have signed more than 150 agreements of international cooperation”, – he said.

The president of Hanze University of Applied Sciences (Groningen, Netherlands) Henk Pijlman noted in his speech, make contacts not only among students, but also among researches. Now BelSU and Hanze University have many cooperational scientific projects. .

“We are honored to be BelSU partners. I think that despite political situation, cooperation between universities will become the guarantee of partnership stability in international cooperation”, – he said.

At the end of the meeting the Principal Oleg Polukhin noted that international cooperation between universities is one of the foundations of international stability and prosperity.
