Geology for everyone

The opening ceremony of the Museum of Geology and Minerology created by Mining and Natural Resource Management Department took place at Belogord State University. Representatives of the Principal’s Office, Mining and Natural Resource Management Department and other institutes and departments, sxhool students and university students took part in the ceremony. The Principal of BelSU Oleg Polukhin greeted the audience. He noted, that despite its “youth”, the museum has something to be proud of.

At the museum everyone can study the history of geology and organic world of the Earth, see minerals, ore and other unique items on display. The special room for diagnostics of the materials will be open at the museum, together with the Young Geologists School for young researchers from schools.
