Professors of BelSU took part in V Congress of Russian Language Teachers

Professors from BelSU Irina Chumak-Zhun, Tatiana Novikova and Maria Kazak took part in jubilee scientific forum. The congress was supported by the government of Tatarstan and “Russkiy Mir” Foundation. More than 500 scientists and teachers from 58 cities of Russia for several days discussed problems of Russian Language development, Russiaт philology, creation of new textbooks etc.

“This is a very prestigious event”, – said Maria Kazak. – “it happened in Kazan, on of the most beautiful cities of Russia, which witnessed Derzhavin, Pushkin, Lev Tolstoy, Gorkiy and Aksyonov. The famous Kazan linguistic school formed there, bringing the ideas developed by modern scientists”

The reports of Belgorod scientists were dedicated to creation of Russian language textbooks for t journalism departments (M. Kazak), linguistics region studies, models of language and cultural research (T. Novikova), cognitive and metaphorical mechanisms etc.
