General assembly of medical students

Local coordinator of international exchange Anastasia Chebotaryova presented BelSU at the National General Assembly of Medical Students in Chelyabinsk at South Ural State Medical University.

The representatives of 26 medical universities of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tomsk, Ryazan, Nizhniy Novgorod etc. The students discussed the international academic exchange and problems of medical education and healthcare.

”This project is a perfect opportunity for future doctors to learn from the experience of foreign colleagues and make contacts for cooperative projects”, – said Anastasia.

A year ago BelSU Institute of Medicine joined professional exchange program. This year the group of students from “Medical care” specialty took internship in foreign healthcare facilities. During the month future medical workers studied medicine in English in Mexica, Thailand and Serbia. Every day students worked under the supervision of doctors. In the end of an internship they received the certificates.
