Dialogue without borders: language, culture, career

An international scientific and practical conference “Dialogue without borders: language, culture, career” organized by BelSU Instiute of Pedagogy German and French Languages Subdepartment and DAAD for students and teachers of BelSU and other universities of Rusia took place in Belgorod.

“This is the first event of this kind in the university. “Dialogue without borders” suggest a discussion between Russia and Germany, at the borders of disciplines, a dialogue about possible international career”, – said Sabine Korin, lecturer of DAAD, who popularizes German language at BelSU.

The conference was dedicated not only to academic exchange in particular, but also Russian and German language, dialogue of cultures, scientific experience and career.

Due to the conference, a German Center was opened at BelSU to popularize German language and culture. The honorary guest of the opening ceremony was the head of Agriculture Department of FRG embassy in Moscow Dr. Heinrich Snell. He said that language plays a significant role in borders crossing.

On the second day of the conference the principal of BelSU Oleg Polukhin met the head of DAAD Moscow Office Peter Hiller and representative of Free University of Berlin Tobias A. Stüdemann the sides discussed potential of education in research sphere and necessity of development of double diploma programs and academic mobility.
