Culture, subculture and tolerance

The students of Institute of Economy took part in “My position” discussion platform at BelSU Cross-Cultural Communication Center. The students discussed youth subcultures and their role in the society.

The students, who represented subcultures they belong to (punks, rappers, metallists, skaters etc) told about looks, lifestyle, music genres, political opinions and goals of their groups.

This discussion platform allowed active and talented students show themselves, learn the rules of discussion, get an experience of public speaking.

The theme kindled the students’ interest and aroused many questions.
