Famous Russian biologist met students and scientists at BelSU

Associate director of RAS Vavilov General Genetics Institute, the head of Plants genetics lab, the head of RAS Biology Sciences Aleksandr Kudryavtsev, Doctor of Biological sciences told about the achievements of Russian scientists in genetic theory of plants selection. This research work covers such problems as chromosomal localization of disease resistance genes, genetic immunity study etc.

“Nowadays molecular genetics becomes the major helper for selectioners”, - said Aleksandr Kudryavtsev.

He urged students to study new scientific directions and use modern research methods.
