University intensify the work of Competence centers

Vice principals, directors of institutes, deans, leading scientists and representatives of laboratories and scientific centers gathered to discuss plans and perspectives of BelSU's scientific activities.

Vice principal for Science and Innovations Igor Konstantinov told about university’s scientific work in 2016. According to his speech, the most successful scientific facilities are Institute of Engineering Technologies and Natural Sciences, Institute of Medicine and Mining and Natural Resource Management Department.

Deputy vice principal for science and innovations Andrei Peresypkin told the audience about university’s international scientific cooperation. He pointed out necessity of active involvement of students and postgraduates to business and innovations as an aspect of international cooperation. Partner international laboratories functioning at the university should be used actively. As a positive fact, he mentioned the growth of scientific articles indexed in Web of Science and Scopus.

In the end of the meeting the Principal of BelSU OIeg Polukhin commented colleagues and said that administration of the university will support progressive suggestions.
