Students’ Conference at BelSU

The conference organized by Students’ Scientific Community with a support from BelSU Science and Innovations Office became a traditional event for the university. Only 18 best presentations and introductions about work of famous scientists was qualified for the final. For the jury the major criterias of the works were briefness, content and creativity.

According to the results of the contest, the first place went to the students of Cross-Cultural Communications and International Relations Institute Alisa Lukhanina with “Yuri Knorozov: the linguist, who deciphered Mayan language” presentation. Second place – the student of Institute of Medicine Victoria Trubitsyna with presentation about Sergei Korolyov. Third place – the student of Foreign Languages Department Aleksandr Belyanskiy with presentation about philosophical ideas and research of John Dewey.

Audience choice award went to the student of Mining and Natural Resource Management Department Anna Komkova and her presentation “A minima ad maximum”. The Most Creative Performance award went to the student of Foreign Languages Department Elisaveta Stronina, who spoke about Konstantin Ciolkovskiy’s work and achievements.
