Students from Armenian fellowship presented history and culture of their country
“Armenian fellowship is not the most crowded one in the university, but it eagerly participate in university’s cultural life as an example of other fellowships. I am sure that more Armenian students would join us at the beginning of the next academic year”, – said at the beginning of the event Svetlana Ostrikova, Vice Principal of BelSU for Culture and Education.
The special guest of the event, winner of international contests and festivals, Master of Voronezh State Forestry Engineering University David Barhudaryan performed Armenian songs – “Zepur kdarnam” (“To you”), “Ankah Ayastan” (“Independent Armenia”) etc. The hosts of the evening Gevorg Asryan and Gayane Galstyan told the audience about Armenian traditions and sightseeing places. The 6th year student of Institute of Medicine Elina Tatevosyan read the poems about Armenia.
The students also made presentations about Armenian artists, Armenian composers and Armenian musical instruments. The specialist of BelSU Insistute of Medicine Nazely Davtyan performed music of Armenian composers: Aram Khachanuryan and Arno Babajanyan.
Students also presented exhibition of paintings and photos dedicated to Armenia, along with Armenian souvenirs.
