The start of Science Week

Representatives of university’s youth scientific community, future scientists and innovators took part in the opening ceremony. Vice Principal for Science and Innovations Igor Constantinov congratulated BelSU youth scientific community and told about university’s scientific achievements.

At the event, winners of an annual competition for the honorary titles "Student researcher" and "The best graduate student of year" were awarded along with the winners of regional graduation works contest.

At the end of an official part, students and young scientists of BelSU presented their plenary reports.

The chairwoman of BelSU students' scientific society Evgenia Savostina has told about the plans and the prospects of activity of Students' scientific society of university:

The student's science is important not only for development of university, but also for development of student’s identity. For all years of training students of BelSU are involved in research work, participate and hold scientific conferences and seminars, train abroad, win competitions and grants. Becoming a part of scientific community of university, students have an opportunity not only to be aware of the most recent innovations, but also to make own contribution into development of one of scientific branches", – she said.

At the end of event, the head of Science and Innovations Office Students’ and young scientists’ research work department Alexander Zhikharev has told about upcoming events of Week of science and has wished students more inspiration and good results in future scientific projects.
