“Mister BelSU” at Belgorod State University

The Students’ union, which has organized the event, suggested a bright red theme – the Soviet Union, so participants could show their vision of this ambiguous era.

Before entering the stage of Youth Cultural Center, contestants from different institutes and faculties of BelSU competed in several preliminary stages: a sports stage ("Mr. Sport"),"Nesting Box Operation" (Mr.Jack of all trades), and "Literary cafe" (poetic abilities contest).

Participants presented vocal, dancing, musical numbers, and even a stand-up performance. A prize drawing from sponsors became a pleasant surprise for the audience.

According the results of all stages, the student of Historical and Philological Department Denis Kushakov was called "Mister BelSU-2017", the rank "Vice-Mr." was won by the student of BelSU Institute of economy Sergey Zayets.
