Time for innovations

A round table conference "Patent information support of the innovation activity" took place at Belgorod State University. The staff of BelSU Science Management Office Intellectual property Department, teachers and graduate students participated in the event. The head of Intellectual Property Department Tatyana Toktaryova acted as the moderator of a round table.

Deputy vice principal for scientific and innovation activity of BelSU Andrey Peresypkin addressed participants of a round table with a speech. He thanked the audience for the work.

"For higher education institution of our level, innovations are the key element of development. Intellectual property Department is very important for the region and higher education institution because our scientists create a large number of intellectual property items. I wish you new inventions and achievements, more patents", – he said.

After the official part the head of Intellectual Property Department Tatyana Toktaryova, the leading engineer Victoria Petrovskaya and the leading expert Natalya Tsurikova made reports. The staff of department of intellectual property told about new databases provided on the website of FIPS.

Participants of a round table discussed urgent problems of registration of intellectual property items and talked about new tendencies in patent registration. At the end of the event, Tatyana Toktaryova thanked the audience and wished colleagues new creative achievements.
