«Children of Great Patriotic War» Alley

Students have helped the senior generation - children of the Great Patriotic War - to plant trees and put the avenue of the same name. The citizens who have gathered this day have planted one hundred saplings of a bird cherry and chestnuts. Belgorod residents, who have strolled in the park, could not resist and too have taken part in the event. Thanks to enthusiasm, harmonious work and joint interest in leaving memory and improving the city, the alley has been planted very quickly.

"We want our city to turn green; we want generations to communicate with each other. This event gives such opportunity: to combine business with pleasure. Planting trees, students and volunteers could communicate to people of the senior generation and learn a lot of new things about events of the Great Patriotic War which haven't avoided our city", – said the chairman of the center of civil and patriotic education of students "Volunteers of the Victory" and “Clover” volunteer organization of BelSU Institute of Management Natalya Roshchupkina.
