“Dictionary Days” took place in Paris

Professor Arkadiy Sedykh made a report at the plenary meeting of international scientific conference “Dictionary Days” at Aliance Francais in Paris. He was invited by CNRS and Sergie-Pontoise University.

The conference, which became a part of French language and Francophonie Week under the aegis of DGLFLF, was dedicated to neologisms. It was inspired and organized by worldly renown French linguist, doctor of sciences Prof. Jean Pruveau.

Arkadiy Sedykh presented contrastive description of French loans in Russian and Russian loans in French in lingvocultural aspect.

During the meetings with the leading linguists of France, Italy and Germany the prospects of bilateral cooperation in linguistics and linguistics, exchange of scientific information within the academic mobility, joint basic researches, training of young scientists within programs of double diplomas, in particular have been discussed with the head of the master program professor Katharine Mayo from Segrie-Pontoise university.
