The best volleyball teams of Russia have gathered at BelSU

The right to play in the final was won by 9 men's and 7 women's teams which have passed regional selection. Geography of representatives of a tournament begins from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Vladivostok. Total number of participants – more than one hundred and twenty. Belgorod State University became the center of student's volleyball not only thanks to modern sports infrastructure, but also because in 2016 the women's national team of higher education institution became the victor of a tournament, having won against staff of the Cheboksary State University. The captain of BelSU team Olga Shatokhina has told about readiness to fight for the highest places in this season:

- We are ready only for a victory and, I think we have the power to show good result. This year there are a lot of new teams, we will look - as events will develop.

The glorified volleyball players, repeated champions of Russia and owners of a cup of the Champions League Alexander Kosarev and Roman Danilov have highly appreciated the level of competitions, having noted development of student's volleyball not only in the Belgorod region, but also in all Russia.

The vice rector for cultural and educational activity of BelSU Svetlana Ostrikova welcomed volleyball players, trainers and fans on behalf of the rector of university, professor Oleg Polukhin.

The member of Coordination council of ASSK of Russia Ildar Harisov announced the opening of All-Russian Finals.
