The Simulation center of regional value was opened at BelSU

The rector of BelSU professor Oleg Polukhin, the director of BelSU Medical institute Vladimir Kulikovsky and other authorities of Medical institute have shown the governr one of the best medical schools of the country and its modern equipment. The governor visited the tomography center, histology department, the center of additional professional medical and pharmaceutical education, accreditation and certification, and the new unique Simulation center ready for improvement of quality of preparation, retraining, professional development and assessment of professional competence.

In the center the computer equipment, dummies, simulators, an integrated and clinical complex “Metimen” – everything necessary for virtual clinic where students can make various manipulations: to do surgery, to deliver, to provide first aid etc.

According to the director of Medical institute Vladimir Kulikovsky, in a year to ten thousand students and experts in the center will undergo training and accreditation.

The Simulation center is a virtual hospital where everyone can train: from nurse to the expert undergoing retraining. One of the important tasks of the Simulation center is to provide health system of the region with qualified personnel.
