Pupils of the BelSU Engineering school have pleased the governor with their talents

The head of the region was accompanied by the deputy governor – the head of the department of education Natalia Poluyanova and the rector of the university Oleg Polukhin.

BelSU Engineering school has been created in 2016 within BelSU Open Engineering School for Children and Youth" project with assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the government of the Belgorod region.

The main objective of the School – identification and training of talented youth of Belgorod region. Despite the small term of existence, according to the experts the Ministry of Education and Science, Engineering school is recognized as the best in a field of activity of the practice focused scientific and technical clubs of creative development of school and university students.

16 directions of engineering cover natural-science, technical and humanitarian spheres. Practically all types of engineering correspond to the priority directions of scientific and technological development of Russia and the leading branches of production of the Belgorod region. The leading scientists of the university, research associates of laboratories, specialists of the enterprises teach at the School.

During this session 550 children and teenagers from Belgorod, Kursk, Leningrad, Moscow regions and also Russian-speaking children from Spain, Germany and Ecuador have studied at the School.
