Students of BelSU has met chairman of Moscow Duma Alexey Shaposhnikov

The event was organized by BelSU, Youth policy department, the Center of youth initiatives, Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, International association of student's television etc.

The guest was presented by the vice rector for cultural and educational activity of BelSU Svetlana Ostrikova. She has noted that Alexey Shaposhnikov is the author and the developer of the programs regulating questions of the Russian parliamentarism and also the initiator of creation of the Youth civic chamber of the Russian Federation and other socially important projects.

“Every day at our university is marked by a significant event. Dear friends, Alexey Shaposhnikov is the person who has made a lot of things for improvement of youth policy and development of the Russian parliamentarism. It is an outstanding personality, and I think your talk will be a pretty interesting one”, – said Svetlana Ostrikova.

Alexey Shaposhnikov gave a lecture about the Moscow City Duma and about the system of the Moscow youth parliament.

“The most important competence which each university graduate need to have is an elementary desire to work and be useful to the family, the city, the Homeland”, – Alexey Shaposhnikov said.

In the end of the meeting the Chairman of the Moscow City Duma has invited students to Moscow on October 10 to parliamentary debates among students.
