The XII European scientific congress of the International federation of physical training (FIEP) has come to the end
Representatives of 48 countries have participated in the event. Teachers of Phusical Culture Department of BelSU Teacher training college were a part of the Russian delegation. Results of the congress have confirmed that Russian delegation becomes one of the most active member countries of FIEP (FIEP). Prestigious "Tulin's Award" for active work as the first assistant went to the national delegate of Russia in FIEP of Europe the associate professor of pedagogics and physical culture Lyudmila Buroy. The group of teachers (professor Mikhail Spirin, professor Fyodor Sobyanin, associate professor Igor Voronin, associate professor Larisa Kadutskaya, associate professor Elena Karabutova) composed the monograph "BASKETBALL IN EUROPE" (2017) which is a part of the FIEP long-term publishing project of Europe dedicated to history of sport in Europe. For the second year members of the Russian delegation work in an editorial board of the international magazine "Physical education and sport through the centuries" (Physical training and sport through centuries), write articles, do the Russian translations.
Further plans of our delegation in this organization in many respects are defined by the forthcoming visit of the president of FIEP of Europe Branislav Antala (Slovakia) and his deputy, the secretary general of FIEP of Europe D. Novak (Croatia) in April, 2018.
