To do good deeds together

On September 30 in the territory of the Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and their mother Sofia Church the "White flower" charity event has took place. Students of the Belgorod State University became the active participants. The tradition which has been created more than 100 years ago under the patronage of family of the Russian emperor Nicholas II has gathered thousands of citizens under a banner of "White flower" of the enterprise of the city, educational institutions. Students of BelSU Institute of Medicine Medical College have presented original handiwork at a fair.

The event has been held for five years with assistance of Basil the Great Charity Foundation, administration of the region and the Belgorod metropolitanate. The main goal of the event is to draw attention to problems of seriously ill patients of children, to show mercy and to help the neighbor. The raised funds will go for treatment of seriously ill patients of children.
