Intellectual property management in the center of attention

The forum was organized by Skolkovo Foundation, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and World Intellectual Property Organization. It took place at Skolkovo Science and technology park.

The director of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) department of the countries of a transition period and the developed countries Michal Shvantner, director of the department of science and technologies of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Sergey Matveev, the head of Rospatent Grigory Ivliyev and the head of the Association of leading universities secretariat Ilya Dementiev made a speech at a plenary session.

The head of BelSU Intellectual property of innovations management Office Tatyana Toktaryova noted in her report that the university actively participates in development of the market of intellectual property in the region as the center of advance of technologies and innovations, using possibilities of the Regional center of intellectual property and regional Know-how Depositary.

Following the results of work of the sections "Development of the Concept of Intellectual Property use", "Formation of Information Base of Intellectual Property Items", "Mechanisms (Models) of Commercialization of the Exclusive Rights" (with the head of BelSU office of innovetions managements sales department Roman Saprykin), "The qualitative patent application as a guarantee of successful commercialization", "Protection in the know-how mode: advantages and shortcomings, ensuring safety of data" (with Tatyana Toktareva), the suggestions for development in World Intellectual Property Organization were made.
