Yulia Minakova has won two golden and two silver medals at the World Cup, which has taken place in the city Marina-di-Carrara (Italy)
The 5th year student of BelSU Institute of Law Yulia Minakova became the two-time world karate champion. On the championship of the planet in the Italian city Marina-di-Carrara she has won four medals.
At the freestyle stage Yulia has submitted art number "Fighting Ballerina" and became the silver prize-winner of the championship, and in the kumite program (ippon, sanbon and point) she took two golden and silver medals.
“Under the leadership of the trainer Andrey Klochkov (eighth dan), I do karate for more than eleven years”, - Yulia has told. – Since opening of the karate school in my town (Stroitel), my mother enrolled me there so I could defend myself. The sport disciplines me, and it also helps in my studies”.
Yulia has medals of the World Cups and Europe championship, however she wants to carry on, perfectly combining trainings with study at Legal institute.
