An example of successful international project

XIV Forum of interregional cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan took place in Chelyabinsk. The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev participated in a forum. Issues of education as key factor of increase in competitiveness of the human capital, development of innovative activities of the modern higher education institutions and strategic partnership of the universities of Russia and Kazakhstan were discussed at the panel conferences.

The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin noted that the laboratory, which proved success of the international cooperation was organized at BelSU, and emphasized that quantity of such scientific centers, should increase.

The international research and development laboratory of applied biotechnologies was created at the BelSU laboratory of the modern methods plants research at the end of last year. The laboratory integrated the scientific capacity of the Belgorod State University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Yerevan state university and Hanze University of applied sciences (Groningen). Thanks to this cooperation many opportunities for carrying out joint biotechnological research opened.
