Developing international cooperation

Due to the working visit the vice consul of embassy Mr. Bruno de Toledo de Almeida has met the deputy vice rector for the international cooperation of BelSU Mikhail Trubitsyn and the head of BelSU international cooperation office Mikhail Pisarenko.

During the meeting parties have discussed issues of enrollment and studying of Brazilian students at BelSU. In particular, the vice consul was interested in migration registration of foreign students and the system of communication between foreign students and the management at the departments and at institutes of the university.

Mikhail Trubitsyn has told about experience in cooperation between BelSU and colleagues from Brazil. From 2007 to 2010 the Center of pre-university preparation of BelSU functioned in of San Paulo where citizens of Brazil, entrants of the Belgorod State University, were trained by the teachers of the international faculty. In 2014 the cooperation agreement between BelSU and the Federal University Fluminense (Niteroi) has been signed.

Nowadays 23 Brazilian students study at BelSU. The deputy vice rector has emphasized need of preservation and development of the relations and has offered the idea to create a Regional center of the Brazilian culture and Portuguese at BelSU with assistance of Embassy of Brazil with the subsequent carrying out, national holydays and the days significant for Brazilian people, with the invitation of representatives of embassy.

The vice consul has supported this initiative. Also within the visit Mr. Bruno de Toledo de Almeida has met the Brazilian students.
