BelSU enters educational space of Azerbaijan

The vice rector for the international cooperation of BelSU Vladislav Kuchmisty and representatives of Institute of economy – the acting deputy director for the international activity Olesya Serkina and the acting head of the department of economy and modeling of productions Elena Stryabkova - have visited with a two-day visit the Azerbaijan state university of economics in Baku.

During the visit representatives of BelSU got acquainted with structure of the only Azerbaijani higher education institution where training is conducted in four languages – English, Turkish, Russian and Azerbaijani; and also with successful experience of use of the Electronic University system in educational process of UNEC which assumes equipment of all audiences by electronic equipment for training with use of modern educational technologies. The Belgorod delegation has met representatives of a student's self-government organizaions, heads of specialties and the leading teachers of department of economy of RES and held the presentation about BelSU and its main educational programs. The movie about the Belgorod state university has been also shown, and the Doctor of Economics Elena Stryabkova has performed a fragment of a lecture on her research which has attracted a keen interest of students.

The delegations also met the heads of educational divisions have taken place: director of the International economic school Anar Rzayev, director of the Russian Economic School (RES) PhD Econ., associate professor Mansour Barkhudarov and head of the Center of the Sabah groups (center of training of talented youth) PhD Econ. associate professor Aida Guliyeva. During the meetings the format of future cooperation between UNEC and BelSU, in particular the academic mobility of students and the NPR, carrying out subject schools, development of joint educational programs was discussed along with the issue of two diplomas, assistance in the organization of practical training by students of partner higher education institution on the basis of leading enterprises of the region and joint participation in drafts of the Erasmus+ program. Also the conversation on a possibility of active use of Internet technologies for lecturing, holding seminars and master classes by the leading scientists of partner higher education institutions has taken place.

During the meeting with representatives of scientific community UNEC - the head of department of science Dr.Econ.Sci., professor Farrukh Mamedov, the director of Scientific research institute of economic researches Dr.Econ.Sci. prof. Yadullah Gasanli and the director of the Center of science and innovations the Dr.Sci.Tech. prof. Sakit Yagubov – the parties have shown mutual interest in cooperation at the level of a postgraduate study and doctoral studies, to the organization and holding the international scientific actions, the publication of results of scientific works, participation in an editorial board of scientific magazines and also submission of joint applications for receiving grants and carrying out scientific research. Besides, the agreement with the guide of the Russian of economic school is reached upon creation of the international scientific laboratory for carrying out the researches significant for the solution of important economic problems of Russia and Azerbaijan. Cooperation in the scientific sphere will develop also at the level of students' scientific societies of two higher education institutions.

In addition to interaction in educational and scientific activity students of UNEC have suggested to cooperate in the sphere of cultural exchange.

In the end of the visit the rector of UNEC Dr.Econ.Sci. prof. Adalat Muradov has met the Belgorod delegation and expressed confidence in successful long-term cooperation between two universities. Signing of the Cooperation agreement between BelSU and Azerbaijan state university of economics became a result of a visit.
