The institute of engineering technologies and natural sciences expands cooperation with Hanze University of applied sciences
Cooperation of Institute of engineering technologies and natural sciences with Institute of sciences about life of the University of applied sciences Hanze (Netherlands) gained further development. From November 13 to November 17 the visit of teachers of the Hanze University Geert Hofstede and Folkert Faber to BelSU took place. It included scientific and educational programs.
In a scientific part of the visit problems of alternative power engineering, setting of research tasks and search of ways of their decision were discussed. The wide range of the questions concerning increase in production efficiency of biogas, economic aspects of use of raw materials and the received products was contoured and the directions requiring collection of additional information and further discussion were planned. Agreements on the organization of a data interchange and plans of researches were reached.
Educational part of a visit of the Dutch colleagues included two lectures dedicated to problems of biogas power engineering and methodology of a study of the processes applied in it (Folkert Faber) and also two master classes in application of polymerase chain reaction in real time for the analysis of industrial microbial communities (Geert Hofstede). The Belgorod students showed great interest to the problems discussed at lectures, eagerly participated in a discussion.
