Sociology of religion and culture

Researches of "Sociology of Religion and Culture" and "Sociology of Public Opinion" laboratories of the university Center of sociological researches (the head – Professor Inna Shapovalova) were presented at conferences in Oryol and Belgorod, and attracted great interest of scientists and practicians.

Results and conclusions of a research of the attitude of high school students towards lessons about religion conducted in the spring of this year within the long-term project "Religion in Education" have been voiced at a plenary session of the international scientific and practical conference "An image of religion: religious education in variety of religious cultures" at the Oryol state university of I.S. Turgenev.

The research of the Belgorod festival movement conducted in the fall of this year within the Sociological Study of Local Lore project by request of showroom "Rodina" has been presented at a plenary session of the fourth international scientific and practical conference "Integration as Basic Factor of Creation and Development of Sociocultural Space of the City" which has taken place on the platform of Belgorod city administration.

Results of researches have been presented by the head of "Sociology of Religion and Culture" laboratory, professor of department of sociology and the organization of work with youth of BelSU Institute of management Sergey Lebedev.
