International integration forum "Border-zone-2017" took place at BelSU
The international integration forum "Border-zone-2017" was organized by BelSU Institute of management, Institute of cross-border cooperation and integration with assistance of Interstate fund of humanitarian cooperation of the CIS states. Representatives of Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and Kazakhstan participated in a forum.
Panel discussions: "Cross-border interaction: public diplomacy, interaction of public organizations, social aspects of border cooperation", "The interregional level of the international cooperation" and also rewarding following the results of the competition "The Best Practicians of Cross-border Cooperation" took place on the first day of the conference. 15 border municipalities participated in a competition, the project of Shebekinsky district, the member of organizing committee became the best, the associate professor of social technologies of BelSU Oleg Bykhtin noted efficiency of implementation of the submitted project in the future.
During the second day the plenary session "Formation of favorable social and economic climate of border areas" took place. Special interest was attracted by the report of the doctor of political sciences Khachyk Galstyan (Armenia, Yerevan) in which the questions of regional development of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union were raised. The teacher of the Comrat university Dmitry Kiseev (Moldova, Comrat) also participated in a plenary session, his report combined problems of economic development of the Republic of Moldova and a possibility of interregional cooperation of regions of Russia and Moldova. The Belarusian side was represented by experts in the field of journalism – Diana Shibkovskaya and Victoria Gomza (Minsk) who made the report on information policy of the Union State.
The carried-out videoconference allowed to unite practicians of the western border-zone of the Russian Federation. Anton Kuzavko ("The agency of integration initiatives", Smolensk) invited participants of a forum to visit the international round table "The common consumer market as a factor of development of the Russian-Belarusian border-zone", and Alexander Nosovich (Kaliningrad) announced the International youth school Studia Baltica.

The forum has been held since 2014. It unites the leading economists and sociologists, representatives of the international business community, experts in the field of public diplomacy and border cooperation from the State Parties of the CIS.
