BelSU develops cooperation with China

The delegation of BelSU has visited China University of Petroleum in Qingdao. The visit’s purpose is the development of cooperation in educational, scientific and technical spheres.

The delegation was welcomed by the director of the international office professor Huang Fang and the deputy director U Kekhua.

The director of BelSU Center of cooperation with priority regions of the world Nikolay Tsybulya presented possibilities of the university in the fields of education and sciences. The deputy director for the international activity and quality management of Institute of engineering technologies and natural sciences Olga Lebedeva and the associate professor of the general chemistry Lyudmila Deyneka have offered various options of mutually beneficial cooperation – from joint short-term student's research projects, to joint educational programs of a bachelor degree, magistracy and postgraduate study. The head of research work department Larisa Verzunova has suggested to develop partnership in the scientific and technical sphere, including carrying out joint researches and the publication of joint articles.

In turn the staff of the University of Petroleum has acquainted guests with the directions of the international cooperation, educational programs, the extensive fields of scientific research, has given an opportunity to visit the center of biotechnology and bioengineering, chemical laboratories. During the discussion of the cooperation between countries of BRICS, an initiative "One belt – one way", interstate programs of cooperation in science and education have agreed about development of cooperation in the field of education in a format 2+2, 3+1 and 1+1, about need of expansion of partnership for the scientific and technical sphere through the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
