BelSU and Diplomatic academy of Russian Foreign Ministry: at a new stage of cooperation

Within the cooperation agreement between BelSU and Diplomatic academy of Russian Foreign Ministry the vice rector for scientific work, the doctor of political sciences, professor Oleg Ivanov has visited the university. During the visit he gave a lecture on a subject "Russia and the West: in search of an exit from the deadlock" for students and teachers of Institute of Cross-Cultural Communications and International Relations, students of social and theological faculty and Journalism department. The lecture has attracted a keen interest. Students asked the lecturer questions which, according to Oleg Ivanov, became continuation of scope of the given lecture.

During the visit Oleg Ivanov has met the rector of BelSU, professor Oleg Polukhin. Issues of interaction and cooperation between higher education institutions, in particular the organization of network interaction when training bachelors and masters have been discussed; academic exchange; a possibility of academic publications in magazines of partner higher education institutions. The vice rector for the international cooperation Vladislav Kuchmisty, the vice rector for scientific and innovative activity Igor Konstantinov, the vice rector for study and informatization Alexander Mamatov participated in discussion.

The parties have considered the possibility of holding joint scientific conferences, participations in work of models of the UN in partner higher education institutions.

Oleg Ivanov has also met administration Institute of Cross-Cultural Communications and International Relations: Olga Prokhorova, Natalya Kostina, Gérôme Bagana, Olga Dekhnich, Vera Malay.

This visit is a new round of cooperation between two higher education institutions and contributes to the further development of the directions of preparation "The international relations" and "Foreign regional studies" which dynamically develop and are priority in Institute of Cross-Cultural Communications and International Relations and BelSU.
