The academic choir of BelSU performed at the Fifth Choral Assembly in Belgorod

Choral Assemblies" was held. The best professional and amateur choral collectives of the Belgorod region have participated in a gala concert.

The academic choir of BelSU has pleased guests of a festival with an original performance of "Hallelujah" (by Leonard Cohen) for the mixed chorus and soloists accompanied by a piano and guitars (Anton Samoylenko). The artistic director of chorus Uruzmag Tandelov has acted not only as the conductor, but also the leader and even the participant of the choir.

Choral assemblies are held in Belgorod since 2014 within the musical and educational project "Development of Mass Choral Performance in the Belgorod Region" which is in common developed by the Belgorod state philharmonic hall, the Belgorod metropolitanate and management of culture of the Belgorod region with assistance of the governor Evgeny Savchenko.

The choruses which have submitted the highly topical and various program have participated in an anniversary festival. Guests of a festival could hear the Russian and foreign choral music accompanied by tools and a-cappella singing.
