The rector of the university has met veterans of higher education institution

Veterans have heard many warm words this day from representatives of administration of the university and the rector, professor Oleg Polukhin. In his speech Oleg Polukhin has summed up the results of work of the university for the last year, having noted that progress among which – entry into the top-twenty of leading higher education institutions of Russia and many others, have been reached thanks to efforts of all staff.

“During the whole last year we tried to develop in all directions, - Oleg Polukhin has told. – I am very glad that we have achieved good results in science, education, sport and creativity together. The reliable foundation for these fulfillments has been laid by the senior generation - you, dear veterans. You have made a lot for modern BelSU to become the leading higher education institution of the region and one of the best higher education institutions of Russia.

The chairman of the board of veterans of the Belgorod city Western district, lieutenant colonel Valery Bunin has noted work of the veteran organization of the Belgorod State University. Valery Bunin has thanked the rector of the university Oleg Polukhin on social protection of veterans, and handed the chairman of the board of veterans of higher education institution Yury Pitinov the diploma for achievements in the organization of veteran work.

Yury Pitinov in his speech has emphasized that the management of the Belgorod State University supports veterans of war who have worked at the university. He has suggested to honor memory of those who left us in 2017. He has told about work of the veteran organization, having highlighted that the higher education institution keeps the traditions put in former years.
