BelSU improved its positions in ratings

The next international rating of the Cybermetrics research group which is a part of National Research Council of Spain of "Webometrics Ranking of World Universities" which is published since 2004.

“At the end of 2017 in close work with scientists and also by the address to Google Scholar BelSU managed to considerably to increase quantity of the registered profiles of BelSU’s academicians on the Google Scholar platform. The result hasn't kept itself waiting – in the rating of January 2018 BelSU was succeeded to restore the positions in Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, having risen till 1780 place in the world and having taken the 19th place in Russia., – the director of the Center of strategic development and scientometric researches of BelSU, the deputy vice rector for scientific and innovative activity Andrey Peresypkin has commented on results of January rating.

In the new year BelSU have also considerably improved positions in the international rating of Four International Colleges & Universities (4ICU) which is based on assessment of popularity of the websites of higher education institutions in world educational Internet space. The university managed to rise in this rating, popular among foreign students, from 1943 positions to the 1656th. At the same time it should be noted that the rating of Four International Colleges & Universities (4ICU) considers data about 13000 higher education institutions of the world. By the way, importance of a position of higher education institution in this rating is confirmed by the fact that the QS company considers it when calculating the academic reputation of higher education institutions.
