The honored worker of science of the Russian Federation, the Doctor of Philology, professor Nikolay Alefirenko and the head of the department of Russian and the Russian literature, the Doctor of Philology, professor Irina Chumak-Zhun gave a speech at a plenary session.

A conference took place within two days. Twelve panel meetings which were dedicated to questions of cognitive linguistics, language, culture, and current problems of the Russian literature have been held. Reports of participants were published in the collection of scientific works of a conference.
