The university will become the territory of two working languages

Oleg Polukhin has presented the integrated indicators which are in a complex characterizing the level of development of BelSU to attention of the audience. In particular, he has told about positioning BelSU in the Russian and foreign rankings: BelSU has taken the 76th place in the section “Materials science” of TOP 100 of the Shanghai rating, has entered the top-twenty of the best Russian universities of Russia by results of a research of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and in TOP-200 of the best higher education institutions of Europe and the countries of Asia. It has also taken the 19th position in TOP-20 the Russian higher education institutions according to "Webometrics".

Oleg Polukhin has placed particular emphasis on the Ministry Ranking in which BelSU takes the seventh place on the number of foreign citizens, entering TOP-10 of leading higher education institutions of the country.

“At the same time it is necessary to consider that Belgorod is not a capital, but a small city. But foreign students willingly go to us, confirming a good ratio of the price and quality of the training provided by BelSU”, - the rector has emphasized.

Oleg Polukhin has also noted the main ways of university’s development. Among them are execution of Russian President’s order: to take worthy positions in prestigious international QS ratings.
