Graduates of BSU are among the city's best teachers.

The awards ceremony was held at the Energomash Recreational Centre, with Konstantin Polezhayev, the Mayor of Belgorod, handing out the awards. He commented that he was proud to reward the best teachers in Belgorod, whose skills and qualities are recognised both here and across Russia.

Of the 81 teachers that took part, half received a prize, with BelSU represented at all levels, including both under-graduates and graduates.

Five BelSU graduates, Evgenya Chumachenko, Nina Chernyakova, Irina Tselykovskaya and Svetlana Kulabukhova won in their category of 'Pedagogical Debut' of 'Teacher of the Year 2018'.
