The BSNRU Academic Council Sets the Presidential Election Date

All three candidates for President of BSNRU have successfully undergone certification by the Commission at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and were approved for participation in the election. In accordance with the Provision on Elections of the President of BSNRU, organisational issues regarding preparations for holding a conference of workers and students for the elections of the president, have been resolved.

The chairman of the electoral commission Vladimir Shapovalov, the Vice President for Quality and Additional Education, announced the agenda and conducted the vote on each question. Members of the Academic Council made a unanimous decision to set the date of the conference of workers and students on elections of the president of BSNRU as 21^st March, and to send this date for approval in the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Representation ratios for all categories of workers and students were set out. 307 delegates will be elected from all divisions of BSNRU.

The Academic Council has also approved details of the documents necessary for holding a conference on elections.
