A student from BSNRU has won a pan-national contest called 'I'm a Professional!'
These are the educational pan-national Olympic Games for students of various specialties, including technical, humanitarian and natural science disciplines.
This year Tomsk State University hosted the Psychology contest, with the assistance of Lomonosov Moscow State University, SFU, TGMU, KFU, YuUGU and DFU. Experts from leading Russian higher education institutions and the largest companies of the country created special tasks for participants. The contest had two stages. The final stage saw participants preparing written answers on three cases which tested how well students were prepared for the psychological interpretation of observed behavioural reactions, and their skills of research, their ability to solve professional problems in the field of practical psychology.
The winner was Arina Dotsenko, a 4th year student from the Psychology Department of the BSNRU Pedagogical Institute.
Money was awarded to the best participants, and they will also be given preferential treatment for enrollment on postgraduate courses at the leading higher education institutions in Russia. They will also be included in the national 'Young Professionals' database, which is available to all major employers, their professional associations, and leading research organisations involved in employment training.
