Anastasia Kinash, a graduate of the Department of History and Philology of the Pedagogical Institute of BSNRU made the Top 15 in the 'World Poetry Day' international festival.
At the 'World Poetry Day' international festival, Anastasia took 14th place with a poem called 'On the Health Channel'. The jury awarded her 629 points.
Three thousand people from 54 cities and 9 countries participated in the festival. In 2017, Ms Kinash also won the Grand Prize at 'Oskol Lira 2017' festival of poetry and song writing. While studying at BSNRU, Ms Kinash was a frequent participant in University poetry 'slams'. Her verses were published in 'Constellation' the University's arts almanac for 2016-2017. Ms Kinash is continuing her Masters program in Pedagogical Education specialising in Language Education.

"World Poetry Day" is an international poetry festival first organised by renowned poet Stefania Danilova in 2016. Now the festival takes place in 54 cities and 9 countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Moldova, Germany, India, Poland and Montenegro. Among others, in 2018 the jury included Svetlana Surganova, Dmitry Vodennikov, Ekaterina Gopenko, Mikhail and Sergey Bogdasarovy, and Umka.
