BSNRU Builds Closer Ties with Bulgaria

Professor Oleg Polukhin, Rector of the University, led a delegation to Bulgaria to visit the University of Sofia. The delegation included Professor Evgeny Tonkov, Director of the Institute of Law, and Professor Elena Safronova, Chair of Constitutional and International Law.

During the visit, the Rector met with his counterpart Professor Anastas Gerdzhikov, the Rector of the University of Sofia. The two leading educators discussed the issues around inter-university cooperation in science and education, the joint management of graduate students, the defence of candidate dissertations, and the academic mobility of teachers and students.
Following the meeting, an agreement was signed with proposals for cooperation from 2018.
