The Institute of Management visited the Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen, Netherlands.
As part of our on-going cooperation with Hanze University Dr Boris Tkhorikov, head of the Department of Management and Marketing, and Dr Maria Dakhova, a senior lecturer from the same Department, took part in events dedicated to celebrating the 220th anniversary of Hanze University of Applied Sciences by conducting a series of master classes within the ERASMUS+ program. While they were there, they found time to discuss the possibility of expanding the existing international cooperation we have with Hanze's Institute of Financial and Economic Management, in line with the existing 'International Entrepreneurship & Innovation' program, and propose a partnership with Hanze's School of Marketing Management.
Dr Tkhorikov and Dr Dakhova visited the CUBE050 business incubator, where Dr Willem Foortuis, a lecturer at Hanze's Institute of Financial and Economic Management, demonstrated how the University is developing an environment conducive to the development of student entrepreneurship, and the commercialisation of applied research and innovation. Teachers also visited the Westerkwartier Regional Cooperative, where the university conducts its business with regional entrepreneurs and local authorities.
