'Student Spring' Winners Announced

This, now established, event was held at the Centre for Youth Initiative and involved more than one hundred talented participants. Our students performed a wide range of numbers from different genres and were remarkable for the high results they achieved. Among the first placed acts were the BNRU Academic Choir for 'Music', and two of its members, Alina Pogrebnyak and Victoria Yatsenko, won in the same category for their duet. Evgenia Farkhutdinova scored a solo victory in the same category, while the 'Fabula' mini-theatre company won in the 'Original Theatre' Category.

The Institute of Medicine's 'Zabava' folk dance ensemble won second prize in the 'Dance' category, as did Maxim Mukhumayev and Oleg Turanov in their duo, and the 'Belogorochka' ballroom dance ensemble.
The Institute of Medicine also picked up a third prize through their 'Variant' vocal group in the 'Music' category.

The award ceremony saw all the winners giving a gala concert.
